2011 Gorge Races

Do you like bicycle racing? Cross Country you thing? What about something a bit rougher, how about some Downhill? Then Kentville is your town for 2011, with two races at The Gorge, presented by the AVMBA.

August 13/14 Gorge DH

This is a great track with something for everyone. Big start ramp (...err tower), lots or roots, rock gardens. sprints, drop and gaps, a sweet steep chute, step down jump, finish line river gap and lots of flow!

Alternative lines around more technical features means riders just starting out can still have a good fun and safe run so find a full face helmet and come on by!!

Practice on Saturday and racing on Sunday. Registration will open at 8:00 and mandatory pre-runs to start at 10:00

September 4 Gorge XC

This race has been running off and on for what seems like forever! The 2011 race will see a ton of brand new trail! If you like tight, twisty and technical single track riding, then this is your race!!
