Across the Highlands MTB Challenge (AHC ’12) is a ride open to cyclists of all ages for them to enjoy at his/her own pace.   Choices of a 30 or a 50km course in the Belle-Côte/Margaree areas designed for the most discriminate riders.

Bicycle Nova Scotia has done some re-structuring for road categories over the past seasons and riders are noting the benefits. Riders seem to be enjoying their events more, and getting more satisfaction from the ride. This is due to closer, more exciting races.

The Dayspring Bike Park (Phase I) is targeted at Beginner and Advanced level riders. The top line features some really nice flow and a logical build up to the largest jump - which takes you right in to a sweet little berm, and then another little hit.

Starting May 8, join the staff of Cyclesmith Halifax at the Africville Look Off for a sweet session of Short Track racing. Racing happens every Tuesday for ten weeks. Be there at 6pm to register.

2012 is looking like a great year to be a cycling lover in Nova Scotia. Well, more particular for people who are looking to participate in some fantastic events. Including Conquer the Pass, and Gorefest - this season is chocked full of fun. The long awaited, official season opening race is scheduled for May 20, at Victoria Park.

HOUFFALIZE, Belgium -- Canadian world champion Catharine Pendrel won the second round of the Mountain Bike World Cup on Sunday, moving into the overall lead of the series after two events.
