Had a chance to check out the work last night with ips....Bob has been busy indeed!
Also got to meet Bob, which was nice. I feel i should get him some cold ones for all the time and effort he has put into the whopper network, because thanks just doesn't seem to cut it...
..even just the work he has done in the past month or so has made a huge difference....

I haven't been back there all season but love doing the full monty whopper ride. Some epic gnar to be had trying to put every loop together somehow with the least amount of overlap.

deadly is an understatement, with deathmarch all the descents are the same with some rocks and roots pulled. then all of the climbs have been buffed up. earn your way down and bust the lungs on the way up, not much reason to get off the bike anymore. kedy konector has been widened, the humps has had the roots pulled.lab pass is pretty much all ridable all except for that one valley with the crooked bridge. it's all good in there.

HEy so who is bob?? If you guys saw him last night, a better description would be what bike he's riding lol.
Kelly and I ran into a group of 5 dudes with a black lab (guy on teh black vp free).
Its funny I forgot about this one root on the main and magically ended up taking a little lie down in the shrubs, just as that happened this bloody big excited black lab jumps on me and scared the bejesus out of me lol.

bob was hoofing it, and was probably already gone by the time you got in there. i'm trying to hire him for our current project, he can knock off an xc route, while we kock off some descents. he's never been to H.L. and doesn't know all the possibilities to be had in there.

he's been hard at her this spring, and if you notice any changes in some of the whopper trails, he's the man to thank. trails worked on: lab pass, keddy konnector, and death march. might be hitting up death march tonight and get some training for the l'acadienne trail in sugar loaf, features are the same but l'acadienne is on the side of a hill.
