Calling all south shore riders - Bridgewater MARC Bike Park Survey

Greetings all!

The bike park at the MARC in Bridgewater is being assessed for an overhaul, and we here at Dirtworks would like your input as what you would like to see done.

For those who may not have ridden there, the current park consists of a series of dirt jumps and berms. Ranging form beginner level table top jumps to jumps to intermediate gaps.

Are there any other features you would like to see added to the park? Such as a pump track, short duel slalom corse, maybe skills features such as log rides, bridges, drops and teeter totters? If you've got an idea lets here it!

This is your park and we want to help develop it in a way that best suits its users and allows riders to progress their skills. Any input you can provide will be a great help.

Cheers,

Ryan Lindh

Hey Ryan

here's my input for what I think should happen.

The little roller thing at the bottom of the hill has to stay once it is where the majority of the little kids ride and learn how to ride bikes. I I think this has the potential to be turned into a great pump track with awesome flow. It needs to be well build once it is just going to be run over by kids going everywhere not knowing what they are doing.

The top needs to be developed into a more smooth lines with jumps of similar size that and can easily hit with any style bike. The current line has the right idea that could be redesigned and so much better. There also needs to be moderate jumps for kids looking to advance their skills or they will weck the big ones.

The hill is a nice size and could easily have two lines with some crisscrossing of each run at the bottom so you can kinda pick your own line would be a cool idea. Throw is some hips and stuff.

Go wild and put together something that will keep locals riding in the southshore and not driving to the city every night to ride. Your work has been awesome and i am sure you will do a great job.
