34/50 x 12-27
Would prefer a smaller drop between the big/small rings but that was the stock set-up and can't really be bothered buying different ring(s).
I hear that TYG and G-Money run 54x11 on most of the Seaview course.

Yeah, that's what I was figuring on. 34 is a bit of a drop but whatev'
You guys have a bad case of "you know what" legs, talking about running a compact. How embarassing.

Marty Gras, I might purposely start slow Sunday @ Wentworth just so I can yell "bitch legs" as I rail by you enroute to taking 4 minutes outta ya.
Marty was in the shop today starting pre-emptive "I'm kinda tired and the baby is cutting into the sleep I need for post-ride recovery and it's been a long season" talk... I don't know why he would even show up if failure is already on his mind. ha ha
Ok, better make that 6 minutes, Marty.
Yes, having a child can certainly impinge on one's riding and recovery. I outsmart my kids by avoiding regular riding, theirfore no recovery needed!

You guys are so mean, no wonder no one wants to get into racing.
Theres enough people racing, we don't need any more. If anything, we have too many. Its probably time for a culling, where's Lazza?
Excellent point Tossed, more people just means we have to elbow more people outta the way in the opening singletrack! And my voice gets hoarse screaming at them too.
Is Lazza coming today? It's awfully wet...
Marty told me that he spent his entire day tuning up his bike in preparation for his squeezing more speed out of it than Kowalski'd ever dreamed. Watch yourselves--especially you G-money!
Hey, what kind of gearing are people running on their 'cross bikes at Seaview Park? I've got standard road gearing that I've been running all season for road riding but think it might be too much for 'cross. I've always run a mtb so this is a little new to me. My current crank is 38/52. Thoughts? thks.
