For that kind of $$ I'd look around as there are plenty of other sweet frames in that range.
Personally I'm not a fan look of the new(er) norco squishy bikes...

Personally id choose the Glory over the Norco. Maestro in my opinion is one of the best suspension systems out there.
I dont know what bike the Vivid is off of, but if its off your old Faith than it will not fit the Aline, since the Alines' shock mesurements are 9.5x3 and the Faith mesurements are 8.75x2.75.
what are my other options

that is the eye to eye for my vivid the a line is suppose to have adj travel from 8 to 9
I would do it seeing your giant is a small (i think it was anyhow), and your like 6' 1". I think the proper fit would be the way to go more then anything, since the bikes are in the same catagory.
is there any way a vivid 5.1 off my faith 2 could fit
Your Glory is looking pretty dialed these days Derek. Its a very good Race bike.........just a little porky..........but that means its strong as fuck. Save your $$$$$ for getting to races, and stuf like tires and riding gear.
If the glory does not fit him he should trade and or sell it and get something that will fit. Same goes for that shock.
a bike that fits will make a big difference. plus each of the suspension designs will have different characteristics. if you rely on your shock to manipulate the bike i'd go with the norco. if you're a pedal at all costs and hope that the suspension soaks it up type of guy i'd go with the giant and or similar designs (vpp). mind you i haven't had much saddle time on a vpp type of bike other than in the parking lot at whopper on a x/c bike.
Technically your Vivid could bolt right up to the Aline, but it goes against what the frame is actually designed for. Like Ryan said, if you plan on getting the Aline, sell or trade your Vivid for one of proper size.
If the Glory is absolutely uncomfortable and you feel like your cramped and akward, than Id say Sell the Glory frame and Faith frame for dirt cheap and with that money go ahead and buy a frame thats of right size for you. On the other hand, if the Glory frame feels alright and you feel you can pinn'r than keep the frame and like Dave mentioned, save your $$$$ for race fees, gas money, new protective gear, new parts, etc....
thanks guys the frame is tight fit but i dont mind it unless i am at sugarloaf during lots of runs then my back getting alittle sore.
yeah there isn't really that much out there, just had a poke through pinkbike...
This might be interesting though...

Oh and I don't think the 8.75X2.75 vivid will run in an a-line, its a 9.5X3 shock spec, the vivid is a 1/2" shorter when fully compressed and that means something will likely interfere somewhere when you bottom it.
too bad it has the paint all stripped off its a hard decision
i will chime in with ... having a bike that fit me properly has made a HUGE difference. i thought my old atomic was a big frame with a big fork so it kinda was enough room for me to use it... however when i bought a bigger frame my riding greatly improved as well as my controll. my suggestion to everyone is get a frame that fits, dont compromise. its not good enough.
I have a 2007 used giant and can by a new 2009 norco aline with the shock for around 1000. I have a new vivid 5.1 which should fit it. Being a dh rider and only using my bike for Dh. Is it worth buying the a line or is the geo to far off. Is the a line enough of a race bike.
That do you guys think?
