Not really a new idea. The Rocky Mountain Pipeline had a QR travel adjust, andI am sure there were others before that as well.

Hmmm I didn't know that...
I think its probably not the best from a stiffness perspective but they've been using QR to hold wheels in place for a few years now so reliability is probably ok...

Yea - I don't know from a bike fit POV especially. I remember one end of the QR on the Pipeline to be notoriously evil for knee bashing. Kind of a strange place to have a skewer on that bike.
I'm quite interested in these Mongoose sleds though. They get really sweet reviews.

giant had something similar. words i remember from a review "the travel changing itself with larger drops, was an annoyance and set back, but everything else was great"






Check out the salvo or what ever its called in the last half of this vid. Especially check out the QR travel adjust... Still not sure if its a good or bad idea...
