is it true there are no bikes at wentworth festival of colors?

I have been completely out of the loop this summer but was hoping to get some DH in at wentworth this fall. Can someone please bring me up to speed. Thanks.

You heard correct, no mountain biking at the fall colours this year. It sucks...big time.

What's the reason for this?

is this due to Canada games work?

Part of it likely has to do with the Canada games work, but also was told due to insurance and liability reasons.

What would be the best background music to accompany the ensuing discussion of what and how to remedy this situation?

Did Groundhog Day have a soundtrack?

Maybe write the management and discuss how much you've looked forward to Fall Festival forever and now that there are no bikes, you're sad.
Worth a shot.

I urge everyone to do so.

Interesting....I was looking forward to enjoying lift access riding at Wentworth.

Joe.......Go to the race/ride weekend on the 25th.......you'l get double the runs, and you can ride both days. I always went to the festival, but the reality is the lift lines ae crazy long. I think it would be great for them to continue having bikes on Festival of Colors, but its not the day that you'll get the most runs in.

Yeah as dusty and bumpy as it is truck>>lift

Its faster and you don't have to hold your bike in your lap.

Don't worry, tired of it and to be honest I have better things to do with my time. I'll just keep sending 99% my cycle and cycling related $ out of the province and country, its worked out pretty well so far.
