Hi,

Short notice, but I"m headed to the liks for 10am today, never been.

when anti social ain't social enough

well it has been a while since i have posted any thing in the bastards group no question about that. sometimes life just reaches out and give you a hard shove of course and this was certainly one of those times.

distant early warning

i have been hearing lots of positive talk as of late about the sport in our region. it seems like it has creeped it's way into just about every sector from trail building to grassroots programs form land access to racing and related events. with several interesting projects looming on the horizon i think it is time to give a distant early warning that good things are coming our way. having seen the light at the end of the tunnel the journey becomes that much easier.

dear diary

visiting my moms in dartmouth yesterday aug 16. , brutally hot out. banook lake\ birch cove is down around the bend. i get to the top of the hill by the beach and was forced to go else wheres by a cop, because of canoeing championships. decided to go to lake charles. bike to shubie's beach, the beach was packed and i didn't feel my bike would be safe. so i kept going. ended up doing the lakecharles extension to the end and cruised the waverly rd to a good swim spot. i put in 20 kms to tread water for about ten minutes. does this happen to anyone else?

being a bastard

so today i went out on a little roadtrip to debert and did a second ride on the micmac community trail and then some exploring on a small portion of the surrounding trails and i got to tell you it is some of the best single track in the province. deputies jim and rick as associate bastards were involved and up to their usual tricks and we all had a great ride. this is a fantastic trail system and you need to go and do it yourselves. just remember less talking and more riding.
