Woolastook Warning - Nettles?
Hi All,
My girlfriend was out riding at Woolastook on Monday and some people in the group ran into some "stinging nettles"? hanging over the trail.
Logging at the Tree Nursery Trails
I was riding the Tree Nursery Trails today and when I came out of the exit of Snake/entrance to the Main trail, the trail was blocked with harvested Cedar trees. Looked like there was some heavy equipment tracks going into the woods further down on the Snake side of the access road as well. I was surprised to see logging in this area. Hey guys, the final race is this Wednesday at 6:30pm. All the same rules apply, 0:45:00, $2 race fee and licences/memberships mandatory. FDZ Beginner Ride - Tuesday, July 13th
This week we will head out to the old ski hill in Springhill. I've never been to the area, but it is double track and fireroad. There will be some climbing and maybe a hike-a-bike. There will also be some nice views from the top and a rockin' descent. The temperature is supposed to drop to a nippy 28 centigrade so you may want to bring a sweater. HA!

WTB: Small MTB Frame for a ladie n00b
I'm looking for a small sized (14-16") mountian bike frame for a female.
Disc brake tabs are not required, but a 1 1/4" headtube (with headset preferably) is.
I would consider a bicycle complete build, as well.
Budget is about $100, but I can pay more for a nicer frame.
Let me take over that project bike you shelved years ago ;)
FDZ Beginner Ride - Wednesday...errr, Thursday, June 17th
I have an engagement for this coming Wednesday (my therapist says I really have to make appointments with my psycho-analyst a priority, and then there's the court order, but I'm rambling now, and my psychiatrist warned me about...anyway) aaaaand there is a proposed 4 week race series to be slotted for Wednesday nights.
Help needed for Wooalstook 5
We are very short of help on race day for the Woolastook 5. If you're not planning on doing the event, and would be willing to help out, we'd really appreciate it. Mostly we need people to count laps at the start / finish and to watch the road crossing, so you won't be standing around in the woods for hours.

Hey-o, recently infected dirt zombies. There should be enough mud now to get out and have some real fun. As the weather is kind of up in the air, so to speak. We should stick to the workhorse trails; The Marysville network. I've never been, but hear a lot about this area and I'm looking forward to checking it out.

I figured I would wake the dead this week and see who's got any rides planned or wanted to get one together. Destinations and times are wide open so lets get something together. Unfortunately I've had other Wednesday night obligations come up so I can't attend SSdestroyer's Wednesday night excursions.
