Yeah kinda, just more nails in the coffin I guess.
Dude found a big rust hole up in the rear right wheel well/strut mount and the front left coil has a piece broken off. Remember a while ago I said I heard a loud snapping sound coming from the front left? well that was it lol.
Took it to a body shop and buddy there said that he has one and they all do it, that part is not structural, and the actual strut mount is solid as. Its just water is going inside the body and to expect rust to pop up in the rear floors... and its $400 a side + tax to fix, + app $300 for the coil so a slow death will happen I guess.
Wed afternoon is still a possibility, have to check with work on monday, I think kelly might have a vehicle to use so hopefully all good on that front.

oh and to be fair the car has lasted longer than expected, and really its safetied till aug next year so as long as the basics keep going its all good.
Pretty much knew we have to buy a new car this year or early next year, kinda excited about maybe more power and a 5 speed lol.

damn it, lucky needs some tlc... linkage bearings are nearly done, rear hub is on its last legs, brake pads were down to metal (no wonder they felt weird on the last few runs lol) scoring the disk and the rear brake reservoir is leaking a little...

I was hoping to hear back from the bros re linkage bearins, but I suspect they might be at eurobike or something.
So I have to figure out the bearings and then order, probably later this week, early next week.
I need new DU bushings and hardware too (bushing ate into the ally), but won't be replacing them with bushings, bushing on ally is stupid, needle bearing on steel much better.

Ian, i am definitely still interested in wheel truing. I can drop the wheels off sometime if you'd like....minus bike preferrably since i don't think i can finess the bike in the car at this point.
As for a ride, i don't think i will be on a bike for another week or two at best....this guy is still pretty fucked.
