Composite Map of Spider Lake

I've pulled together a few different maps to give an idea of the state of land at Spider Lake.

Others that are more in the know than me, please comment.

The black lines are the current property lines that the province uses for property tax assessments.

The light green area is crown land.

I used the lake as the major reference point, so all things line up there, but you can see an outward skew.

I tried to lay the current trail map over top of the map, but just couldn't get the scale right. I ended up with topology lines running through the lake...

CTV's Paul Hollingsworth spoke to Brightwood about the tree cutting in the Spider lake area.

They have stated that it is not their intention to build a golf course at this time but do not rule out the possibility that one may be built in the future.
