distant early warning

i have been hearing lots of positive talk as of late about the sport in our region. it seems like it has creeped it's way into just about every sector from trail building to grassroots programs form land access to racing and related events. with several interesting projects looming on the horizon i think it is time to give a distant early warning that good things are coming our way. having seen the light at the end of the tunnel the journey becomes that much easier. i have come to the realization that there are folks out there that A are looking for something to do or become involved in they just need direction and B folks that grab the bull by the horns and get shit done. it's time to work smarter not harder. end of transmission.

I'm getting the same feeling.  It's not specific to cycling either... folks are getting excited about outdoor sport in general.

 I look forward to it!

and so it begins. the nova scotia mountian bike trails association is now in it's infancy. the first official meeting has yet to be held but  the informal discussions that was held and the people who were involved in these discussions lead me to believe that this will be an interesting but yet rewarding venture. looking at this from a trail building point of view after seeing so much work disappear in the hrm area how could you not loose by having areas which would be protected from man and machine.
