It'll be messy for a while and does look to be selective, but extensive thinning. There barking all of the trees for drying(?), Maybe it's for a log structure. It would be nice if it was a bbq pit and yurt. That's a long shot.
Logging at the Tree Nursery Trails

I was riding the Tree Nursery Trails today and when I came out of the exit of Snake/entrance to the Main trail, the trail was blocked with harvested Cedar trees. Looked like there was some heavy equipment tracks going into the woods further down on the Snake side of the access road as well. I was surprised to see logging in this area. Does anyone know how extensive this will be? Hope this doesn't impact the trails.

I can't tell how old this post is but...today is July 28.
They have been at this for about a month. They seem to be selectively cutting out cedar. In the last few weeks, I haven't seen much new activity.
At least its not a clear cut!
Hopefully they are done.
