Ok, Supa sweet, 2nd to last run of the weekend. We're at the big step down to large bermed turn to the left into the second step-up. Come around to the big step down on completely the wrong line at a far larger speed than I have been going previously. End up landing 2/3 of the way down the hill on the front wheel in the marbles on the right. Get the back wheel down but without enough time/traction to get back on trail and into the berm. Instead proceed to miss the berm completely and shoot into the trees on the backside of the berm.
Luckily there's nothing to huge in there. My handlebar hit a 2 1/2" fir tree and snapped it almost in two. I walked away completely fine. Bike was fine. Everything was fine except the tree that was too stupid to get out of my way.
That was the only real spill of the weekend.
Jeff had a far more expensive non-spill though. On the next run (also down supa sweet) somewhere between launching the last drop and landing, his X0 rear derailler got into his spokes, destroying the carbon cage and flatting his tire.

hey jake, think about sugar loaf this way, your house will be sitting there waiting for you the day you get back and all winter, however the 30th/1st weekend will be the last time you can ride at the loaf for about 7 months...
Speaking of which I think I'm going to have to go to highland next year, opens mid may lol
