we could do that
Trail conditions 2010
April 9
The trails are drying nicely.
The top of the Inner Piece is still wet
Some work has started fixing up the trails from the tree cutting damage.
The replacement route for the humps needs to be landscaped
The Traverse trail still needs to be cleaned up, 80% is clear.
the trails are finally drying out up at the spider so things are much more enjoyable to ride. we got out for the first work of the year and did a little tweak on the rep dealing with the ruts left by the big machines.
Looks like a poor riding week ahead
I am up for some trail work a few nights this week and maybe this weekend if the weather dosen't clear.
yeah a little work on the rep loop would be do able some time this week. staying closer to the car would give you that much more light to work with.
Tonight I will head up when I get home from work
Just after 5:30 if weather is good
Tonight around 5:45 I think I will ride to the top and start to work on the new part of the Humps.
I have tools in the area if anyone wants to just show up.
I am off this Friday; the weather looks like showers through out the day, so I plan to do some trail clean up.
If anyone wants to do the same let me know and I will post a time
after looking at the radar.
The Traverse is so close to being ride able again.
The two sections of clear cut at the 6 pack end and the top of the trail to the JFK still need to be cleared.
To the 39 members in this group.
If you are riding in the area take a few min and help clear the debris.
things are good right now, trail is dry and small improvements continue to pop up. would like to see a trail day in the near future to tackle one or two of the bigger projects. have to say that the skull trail is as good as it as ever been hats off to the elves for working that section.
What about an evening trail day so that people don't give up a weekend.

Lots of trees are down on a few of the trails; thay will need a chain saw if someone feels like hiking one in.
There is on tree at the start of the Replicator.
One tree is on the trail up to the Six Pack near the lower road where there are also two other trees down across the road.
There are two trees down on the Traverse one of these is blocking the trail that comes up from JFK
