Woolastook Warning - Nettles?

Hi All,

 

My girlfriend was  out riding at Woolastook on Monday and some people in the group ran into some "stinging nettles"? hanging over the trail.

 

I was out last night, and it seems that this is limited to the bottom of the last downhill trail onthe race loop, right when the "waterside-singletrack-roller-coaster" starts..

 

Hopefully we can get it cut out this weekend!

I've never seen them in there before, but it's certainly possible! Most of the stinging nettles in the Freddy area are concentrated on the islands of the SJ River and it's subsidiaries. There have been reports of Poison Ivy not far from Woolastook park too.

Always good to know where these things are!

I went up there and definitely pedaled through something on one of the downhills, brushed my arm and was burning for a while. I didn't go back to look thought I was just crazy.
